Default Vin number decoder
I'm looking for the build information on my 1968 corvette. I don't have the original motor block number since the block was deck. Can the VIN number tell me what the car was equip with?

No, the vin will only tell you if it was a coupe or convertible.

Maybe reach up above gas tank and see if your build sheet is there. Would be brittle but if you feel paper it would tell all

The Vin will tell you if it was 6cyl or v8...

I'm pretty sure you can get what you're for from the trim tag.

nope. the trim tag tells you interior and exterior colors, build date and coupe or convertible
