Default Chevy intake recommendations

I have three different GM intakes and wondering the performance (power/torque) difference. Please give your comments are those worth of money or waste of time. I have a two engine options where I can set those. What kind of experience/findings you have. (sbc 327/300hp and sbc 400/402hp).
Cast iron GM 3844459.
Alum. GM 14057053.
Alum. GM 14007378.
I don't want to buy Edel or others cause low budget tuning ongoing.

Think they would run about the same, if I had a choice probably the L82. We used to throw all them in the trash yrs ago lol

No difference from a performance standpoint. Pick the aluminum for weight savings. The port/runner design is common and GM used in nearly everything.

Thanks Your comments, I have run Carb. problems cause on that Cast iron Intake there is heat channels what are causing gas boiling. I have looked more closely those aluminium intakes and channel surface is smoother so I will big those.

Aluminum intakes can block one side of the passage at the head mating surface with a thin piece of stainless steel shim stock slipped in with the gasket and the manifold still warms up pretty fast (good). Need to keep some heat on the choke coil side if you have that setup.

Cast iron intakes you can plug the non-choke stove side and reduce the heat with a heat shield/carb gasket setup and they still work. Takes the engine longer to warm up fully on cold starts with cast iron.
