82 CE Rear Hatch
I am having issues opening the rear hatch. The cable doesn't move when I pull on it, it feels like the latches are locked. I tried connecting a ratcheted strap to the pull handle and the upper door hinge. I gave it a "tightening" and nothing happened. So before I break the cable or my door hinge, does anyone know of another way for me to open/release the latches?

they may of slipped down it the
e latch assembly may try carefully up by lower latch both sides the hinges stretch so will not open no parts adavable that i know of

1. get a helper
2. have them push on the glass hatch from the rear towards the front of the car
3. gently pull the release handle now that the pressure is off the latches
4. use forum search function for 82 CE hinge reset procedure or buy new ones (if u can find them)
