Default Fun weekend at Carshow

I just had to share this with the forum.....So this is one of those weekends that you wish would never end. I started out with spending Friday evening with my daughter at the Mecum auction in Dallas. Boy was that a blast ! I highly recommend anyone thinking about it to go. Just for the experience !
That was followed by a local event near home called "Old time Saturday" celebration which had a car show, parade, lots of food and a wild west shootout ! Of course I entered my C3 and took first place in my category. What helped a lot was the fact that i was the only one in this category Lots of beautiful cars ! But what was even better was the parade. My daughter dressed up in costume, we took the T-tops off and she rode with me entertaining all the kids along the route ! It was awesome. All the dads were giving thumbs up to the car while their kids were waving to my daughter while tugging on their dads shirts saying "LOOK!" . The local newspaper was there and got some great photos of my daughter hi fiving a little girl along the route. I can't wait to see that.

My daughter in costume while waiting in line for the parade

To one side of me, a husband and wife with his 57 BelAir 2 door and her 67 ElCamino

To the other side was a retired Army guy with his Paddy Wagon hot rod !

Beautiful C3. If you don't mind me asking whose headers and side pipes are you running?

They're OBX headers and side pipes, but i added the heat shield to them out of necessity. Cant recall the name brand of those.

Your car looks great! I really like the wheels with the red stripe.
