I feel somewhat silly asking this question... but since I recently broke an aluminium part trying to unscrew a seized plug, I figured I should make certain before I brute force it the wrong way!
With the gearbox in car - which way should the top up plug on the side unscrew? - eg: should I be pulling the wrench towards the front of the car or the back?
is 'lefty loosey' the right orientation when you are under the car, looking up at the box from underside? (From passenger side)
mindful that if you were on top of the box, left would be the opposite direction... or drivers side.. :s
While FACING the gearbox, from the passenger's side, because that's where the plugs are located, "lefty" would have you twisting the wrench handle toward the back of the car (turning counter clockwise).
