That was a great video. It sucked that he spun at the start but if he didn't, we wouldn't have been able to see him passing almost the whole field which added the cool factor to the video. Very nice!

That's an early version of Traqmate. I use a later version of their software, but same basic hardware. It's a slick little self contained unit that uses accelerometers and a GPS antenna. I purchased mine for a learning tool for HPDE's. You only have to attach two wires (1) power, and (2) tachometer wire to the distributor.
Regretfully they went out business earlier this year.

Ah bummer. I need to look at something similar, most of them now seem to want to use odb2 - convenient and cost-effective for most racers (in newer cars) I guess, but useless to us.
