Dumb T-top Question
This may be a silly question but I can't find much to confirm my thought that the t-tops are exactly the same from 68-82. Is that the case?
What I want to do is take the black trim from 80+ and use it to replace the chrome on my 73. Can anyone confirm this will work? I was going to have my original trim powder coated but if I can just swap the trim that would be a little easier and probably cheaper.

The moldings are different, 1968-1976 used the same moldings, 1977-1982 used different ones. The other issue is that the T-top weatherstrip is different and the manner in which they attach is different from 1977L to 1982 vs. 1968-1977 Late.
