Default 1971 fiber optic end
Had the vette stripped down to bare fireglass and repainted. Noticed left rear brake light wasn't showing up on console plate when brake applied, rear fiber optic wire was hanging down. Plugged it in and it isn't as bright as the other, any way to clean the end off and what solution to use. Not to damage wire.

Soap and water; Simple green, etc. Also clean the lens.

Yep. You might need to remove and polish the plastic receiver lens in the lamp fixture. They get dirty and dull from years of 'existence'.
