it is not for the rear bumpers.... It is too long for that.
It is the brace that ..... the threaded end of this rod goes in the bottom center of your radiator support and then attaches to a threaded area on your metal headlight support bean to hold up the top hood surround.
If it was shorter it could be a clutch push rod with the adjuster threads at one end with the slight crooked spot before the threads begin.
YES...but the dead give away is how the other end is slotted...which is not how a clutch push rod is made. As I stated...it is as like I stated back in POST #3....the support rod for the top hood surround to radiator support.
