Default Inspections

I just recently bought a 1980 Corvette and I wanted to know where you take them to get inspected. I want to know what's wrong with it so that I can be worry free

I am in LA and am wondering if you ended up finding a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection? I'm interested in a C3 but need someone who knows these cards to take a look for me. Please let me know.
