Default 78 silver color

Does anyone have a 78 two tone silver Anniversary Vette ? I have seen pics but can’t decide if I like the colors. Any opinions on the color would be great .

Those are the best pictures I have seen, I can actually see the shine of the paint. Very nice. Thanks.

For me, if you take the Silver Anniversary paint scheme and add pace car spoilers to it, it is one of the best, if not the best, looking C3 ever made.

There's a member here with a Silver Anniversary C3 that has the Pace car spoilers on it - I lust after that car.

I have the 78 two tone silver with an Oyster interior. I love it. The two tone sometimes looks all one color depending on the light. That subtle difference is what I love. Mine has original paint with a nice patina. Luv it.

If you've been holding out for red or black, think carefully about getting something else. When I was looking for a 78/79 I wanted one with a silver or oyster interior. The silver was a little harder to come by and so I bought a 79 with an oyster interior thinking it'd be just as good. The interior was in fantastic condition but I decided after a few years I really would have preferred a silver interior and now I'm going through the expense of putting a silver interior in my 79. I'd have been better off if I'd spent a lot less on a car needing paint and interior and upgrading it to the colours I like best.

I just bought a 78 Silver Anniversary with oyster interior a few months ago. I LOVE it! As was stated above, depending on how the light hits it, it might look like one color or there is significant contrast. Definitely adds a special touch vs the solid cars.

That’s a good point. I’m definitely going to go and look at it.
