Can anyone help me identity this part , it was on the front headlight loom of my 72 corvette stingray, I don't know what it does or can I find any obvious place that it goes.

Headlamp warning switch, there is one on each side, turns on the headlight warning light in the dash from the time the lights are turned on till they are fully up.

The threaded end is broken off that one which may explain why it's not obvious where it goes
