I am an owner of a '70 BB Convertible so I am biased that way. I was told of an app I have added to my phone recently called Corvette DNA. While I am sure it is not perfect it is fun to toy with and gives you some close numbers based on year/mileage/condition/options and engine. OP you may grab that app and take a look.
just watch out for fakes and restamps on any 454. I have found that many 70 big blocks are either misdescribed or silent in their presentation on important value factors.
I know that this is a small point to most people, but I loved the fiber optic system on my 68 coupe so much, that I added the extra two 68 tail light monitors to my car.
GM cheapened the 72's by eliminating this way cool feature. Lou.
I wanted to buy a BB when I got my 68, but in hindsight I'm glad I didn't (for the time being). I have a 350 in mine and it guzzled fuel, I cant imagine how much of a gas guzzler a BB would be.
Titanle I get 12 mpg on the highway with my 70 LS5 and 3.08 gears. Not sure how much running the AC would impact it, but it’s not like it’s a daily driver.

12 MPG equates to about 23 litres per 100km, so 4.35km per litre (im Canadian). That's about the same average my 5.6 litre Nissan titan with 35" tires gets. I didn't get an accurate measurement of how much fuel my car burns since I only drove it for about a week on day permits.
Joewill could you elaborate your statement? "I have found that many 70 big blocks are either misdescribed or silent in their presentation on important value factors."
Thanks Ike

My '72 bb got horrific fuel mileage....around 10. But it was used very sparingly, so no big deal.

I suspect he means that like most higher end Vettes, many of these have been faked with restamped numbers, or are NOM's, incorrect colors or interiors, have replacement front clips, etc and sellers aren't always transparent about it.
