Compartment Bin Doesn’t Fit: Found out why
So yeah. I knew there was some damage back there’s. With the diff out of the way and everything decreased, found out how truly bad it was. The bin is detached on the passenger side.
So how does this happen? Accident, half shaft detached? Would like to hear some theories. Pretty sure the car was only in a minor fender bender (fender crack more like) at the drivers side.

Many, and I mean many years ago I had a friend with an SCCA A Production Corvette. We raced at Bridgehampton, Lime Rock, and Watkins Glen.
One particular Saturday I went out for a hot lap at Bridgehampton, when in Echo Valley there was a big BANG, and I mean a Big one, and the left rear half shaft U joint went, and it took out the battery box, and the battery.
I came to stop along the grass, went to restart, and nothing. The battery or what was left was just the 2 posts, positive and negative, with nothing below it.
My buddy was not impressed.
