The sheer amount of work that you get done is obscene. Well done!!

Great thread. Lots of good info and eye candy. Been wanting to ask for a while Roger, what's the plan for the cars. Are you building to sell.? or is it just a labor of love, like most of us. Cant get enough. Whatever it is, keep it up. Great work.

Well Gold, that's a good question. With my wife recently retiring it's a little unnerving to say the least to not have any formal income. So my thinking is to sell the 68 as a rolling chassis project, the 71 will get the body work and paint and also be sold. Then unfortunately the black 69. May already have someone for that one. Then go in a new direction with the 67 Bronco restoration. By then, if my health is still good I hope to do another Bronco and a C2 or C3. We will just have to see how things go I guess. The selling of these projects will always be a labor of love and to get them back on the road for people to enjoy. A little to also fund the hobby. This is what keeps me going at this stage of my life.

So, it looks like about 2 weeks worth of detour work getting the 68 car put together enough to go to market but it was worth it. Anyway now I can get back on the 71 project with a better front clip. Need to remove most of the old adhesive and then prep the new clip. Once I clean up the new clip it gets installed and it's finally onto body work. Also going to continue with the 69 build. That left off with the door panel installation. Never a dull moment around here.................................... ....................................

RVZIO

First day back with stuff all over the place.

Got the frame done and started the rolling chassis.

Got it ready to roll out the shop and that was not easy with no rear end.

Pretty nice seats. Put it on Ebay to see what kind of interest.

Front clip is for this Derek. Did you fall a sleep! Last I checked, Tony was good with what he had.

The amount of time I was spending on that clip in the end was just not what I was looking for. This clip although screwed up a little but no where near what I had. I do have that piece sitting in my fiberglass bin box for Tony. We can figure that out when he gets his car back.

So we all know when you work by yourself you have to look around to see what you can use. So I saw the dolly that the 68 was on and thought it could help me with a first mock up. Worked like a rail system sliding and just a pinch of lifting.

Worked on prepping the bonding areas where the clip attaches.

Florida rail system.

Started the crappie work of removing paint from the front clip. Used my DA to make quick work of it for what is done. More to go tomorrow. Really cooking here in Florida today, so I called it quits at 2. Anyway.................................. ........................................ ........................................ .......

RVZIO

You start to see some of the creative body work done in the past.

The dolly with a piece of OSB made for a great place to work on the front clip.

Saw this and said, hmmmm….this looks familiar for some reason, LOL's!

You might put your ebay ad in the C3's for sale section here too.

Although the forum is a great place to learn and ask questions I never had much success selling here. Cars just don't seem to move as fast as I would like here. Just my opinion!

There are rules on the forum preventing Roger from selling his flips. Best staying with eBay, Craigslist; and or Facebook. Avoids complaints. Good luck with your sales Roger.

Easy answer Roger. Lots of complaints against me for my work on frames, selling, and my give aways. I moved on and no more complaints. That is how I know.

You're both great members.

The rules arent there to control the good guys. Could you imagine the Craigslist Gold trash that would fill the sale section if unregulated? But we are allowed 1 car a year each. That black 69 or the next finished car would be a better candidate than this project.
