Hello, while I was taking apart my seats to recover, I came across this. I think it's a seatbelt sensor but I'm not 100% sure. I have a 71 but I don't think the seats are original. Also, I don't have any wiring to hook the thing up to even if I wanted. At first when I took the seat out and saw the wiring sticking out, I thought someone tried to make heated seats, but then when I took off the covering I saw that. Thanks

1974 corvette seat belt warning switch

and the ebay link below came up.
looks a lot like your thing.

Sure does, thanks. That would make sense because apparently one of my seats is from a 74. Here's the seat tag I found on it.





From what I've been told, this seat was made on the 282nd day of 1974.
