The set arrived. Very anxious to see them on the car once I make up my mind about red-line or white-line tires.

With the Cortez Silver, I would go with the red-lines.

I indeed decided on the redlines and have them ordered. Sounding like this project may well be done next week! Got to see the car with all the body parts on it yesterday. They are now just finalizing the door panels and new ragtop. I am guessing they are going to have to do some tweaking with the new hardtop I purchased from them but I have heard of no issues. Really excited to see the car with it on there as I have not seen that look with this car before.

And a miracle occurred! A nearly one-time, major job, delivery. (Not that I'm complaining about The Beauty Parlor mind you.).
My first experience, after doing some shopping and references. A three-month job was more like three years.
Fabulous.

Very nice! beautiful car! Mine was in the body shop for 5 years. I told they guy that I wasn't in a hurry and he gave me a price cut...I didn't have anywhere to store it at the time, so I guess I got free storage, lol.

Awesome restoration... did you purchase new chrome bumpers, or did you have yours re-chromed? I just bought a '71, and the chrome is above average, except for one of the rear bumperettes... I'm near Dallas, so wondering if you had a local shop re-do them, or if you just bought new?
