I was really happy going from 245s to 235s on the front to get rid of that rubbing that I'd had for years. I think you will be pleased.

Wow that is a cool 68' with a sneaky and perfect fitting 73' hood.......love the no headrest seats too......great stance.

I had 255's on my 69' and it just rubbed barely on the right side when turning right.......a 245 would probably do it if you are concerned about it......
Pulling out of tight spaces I would turn and go til I heard the rub and back off......no problem.

Thanks...it is a Frankenvette but never fails to get attention. Looks real good from 5 feet or at 5 mph but has its issues in the paint close up. For safety reasons (and the wife), I did install headrests and shoulder belts recently.
