Spark Plug Wires
I am suspecting a couple of my spark plug wires not to make good contact anymore. One of my boots is broken too.So I figure it is time to change the whole set.A year ago, I installed a PerTronix Ignitor III and it worked well. I am wondering if I need to take this into consideration when shopping for spark plug wires.Also, it makes sense to have low resistance wires but it looks like they never come braided. I need braided (radio).I have been looking for a set that meets the following:- fit a 1971 Corvette Big Block 454- Braided- Compatible with the Electronic Ignition (i.e. that let me have the full benefit of it)PerTronix sells spark plug wires but none of theirs is braided.Can't find one.Any idea?

RFI related noise has not been an issue in automobile world since the early 80s- as the wide use of noise-suppressing (resistor) spark plugs and the wires are internally shielded.
