I’m 6’5’’, and have a 69 big block convertible. I’m fine with the top down, but my head brushes the top when up. So I took out the seat rails and replaced them with flat aluminum bars. Puts the seat almost 2” lower and all the way back. I still look ridiculous when getting in or out with the top up though.
6’2 here with a 71 Coupe without Tilt. It’s a bit tight and hitting some bad bumps with the t-tops on I’ve hit my head several times. Usually the roofs are off so no problems then. Getting in and out isn’t the most graceful either at 57 years of age. Add on my petite 260lb frame just makes it more of a challenge! It’s actually easier getting in the C3 than my C4!
The Clint Walker video reminds me of getting in and out of a C4 with the high door sills. I've got 78PC-82 clam shell seats and glass tops on my 77 and it's not too bad for me at 6'2".
5’10” here and have a hell of a time getting into my little brothers 68. I had spinal surgery almost 2 years ago and lost about 50% of the flexibility in my lower back.
I'm 6'1", have no trouble - except when I drove it home after buying it - thought the seat was back....turns out it was up all the way forward! hehehe
I was in such a hurry to get it home I forgot to check, I knew 'Vettes were cramped so I didn't think anything of it....my daughter took my picture with
my knees all cramped up.....funny to see it now....
haha, now that is funny. oh, I take it its an automatic, if not would love to see you shifting.

I am going back down in a few weekends time with all these mods in mind. So hopefully all is good and an offer can be made :-)
If not then I will have to wait as I like the challengers and might look at a c7 also
That is quite the range, ... from a C-3 to a C-7 or late model Challenger. I'm 6' 4" and can not get into a new style Camaro . Love to have one but not worth the extra cramped interior. Sat in a 2017 Corvette coupe. Felt stuffed in a space capsule. Shifting gears would definitely be out and little room to relax. Our 75 Convertible with an automatic is comfortable. Plenty of room , sky is the limit, only drive in top down weather. Even with the top up it is fine, just mental adjusting. Had a 73 coupe we took on vacation years back traveling over 3,000 miles . Worked out fine. Had a great time. Have C-1s and C-2 coupes but the 75 gets the miles and driven frequently. Drove it home with the hard top which has never been reinstalled .
Yes quite the range. Only if the c3 is ruled out I like the c7 and I had a challenger on hire when I was in America for 2 months but they are too expensive in the UK and not many of them about.
As a follow-up on this topic after having my C3 for a few weeks I find when closing the door from inside I have to shift over to the right in the seat momentarily or my "aft" will interfere with the door closing. Have to have my left foot pretty much all the way forward in the foot well or my knee will bump the turn signal and or the sideview mirror control. Also having the tilt steering wheel one notch down from the top is better for reaching the wheel but I then have to kick out my knee to the right a bit more to work the brake.
To run a brush through my hair I have to lean over to the right because there's not enough room overhead - also if I try to lean forward much in the seat my head bumps the underside of the T-top. I think I previously mentioned the rearview mirror creates a blind spot due to my vantage point, which is an issue in a lot of cars for me.
