It came with the same basic block as a 350, it was a large main journal block so the GM only had to make one style block for their SBC line. From 1968 on, the 327 to 400 basically had same dimensions just different strokes and piston skirts. So you can take any 350 block and throw a 68/69 327 large journal crank in it with 327 pistons.

They also got rid of the openning in the block for the draft tube
