Looking for an opinion prior to making purchase. Currently have on my 1975 235//60 r15 on stock rims. Would like to put 245/60 r15 (same rim) on for a little wider stance. Pretty sure there is no problem on the fender clearances. But what about the e-brake cable and mounting. Don't want to get stuck with tire I wouldn't be able to use. Thanks

On my 68 the danger is actually the rim hitting the e brake cable holder. Gm moved it after 68 so you may be okay. Can you jack it up and get under there?
On my 1968 I changed my front tires from TO 235/60R-15 last year FROM 245s. The 245s had been annoyingly rubbing for years. Just barely, but they did. I cannot tell much difference in stance as you can imagine.
What's funny is that 245s and 255s fit fine in the rear. I'd leave on a 235 (the one that fits with most room) and have the tire shop replace the one that is closest to rubbing such that you can compare and see if it rubs with a 245..... if that one is ok, then all the others should be also.
