1977 acceleration problems
I purchased this car 28 years ago, it had a serious hesitation on acceleration. I took it to a local shop and was told it needed the carb rebuilt, didn't help. Several years later I took it to another shop, was told carb needed rebuilt, didn't help. Several years later I took it to another shop ,was told the carb needed rebuilt, didn't help. All of the emission system had been removed. from the car before I purchased it, the egr port on the manifold has been jb welded shut. Do you have any ideas. 350 small block, auto, Rochester carb. Thanks for any advice you can give me. Ed

Find a post with Lars' email, and email him for his timing papers. Follow them to the letter, and that may solve your problem.
