I got a problem regarding the water pump bolts of my 77 (with AC).
When taking the water pump off a couple of months ago, I wrote down where every bolt did go.
Now that I want to install my water pump back in place... I can't find the papers with bolt numbers I wrote down...
Can you guys tell me where every bolt goes? The AIM doesn't show anything about the length of the water pump bolts.
The AC is still used, but the SMOG pump and bracked are removed when I took the water pump off. I will leave the smog pump and bracket off...
Stick a piece of stiff wire down to the bottom of the hole and measure the depth. The bolt must be at least 1/4 shorter than the hole depth [and bracket thicknesses] in which it fits.
