Default 1969 Convertible Top Header PaneL Screws

Does anyone have any experiences with buying these screws.

i appear to be missing several but went to Lowe’s today and the threads don’t seem to match up to any on their size-finder gizmo. Found some on CA and Zip but they don’t seem to be correct size/ thread distance...

Any help would be very appreciated!!

Those are a type of self tapping screws so the thread cuts it's own path. Just go back and find some with the same diameter, length and head style you'll be fine. Get stainless steel too.

Ok but don't the threads have to align? Or are you saying that the new screws will re-tap the existing hole and sort of "overwrite the threads"?

If you are really worried about it take one of your original screws with you then just mesh the treads together. An old screw in good shape is a poor mans thread gauge.......
