A forum member on one of the MB's forums posted this link for factory colors. I thought I would check it out for '71 Brands Hatch Green.
Well....not even close!
VERY few of the "mixed" conversions whether it's Dupont/Axalta or Spies or whomever, come anywhere close to the original colors.
Pretty much why I insist on only having original paint cars now.
I don't know that you can question the correctness of the color on a car, based on an image from the internet, or a photograph. An overexposed picture will lighten colors, while underexposure darkens them. Colors can look completely different in photographs taken in direct sunlight, verse those taken in the shadows, and the time of day a picture is taken, can also effects colors.
The first image posted, sure looks like it's overexposed.
