Default Cragers Anyone?

I value your input.

So I've decided to go with Cragars on my 71, and I found these online. I've read several threads and got confused by all the back and forth of rim/tire size. I've never bought tires and rims for a 1971 Vette before, so I don't know what I don't know, please help. As for tires,I'm thinking about 70s in front and 60s in the rear.
Cragar
SS SPR Sport 08/61
15 X8 5-114.30/120.65 -6 CSCHCL I know what 15x8 means, but I have no idea what the rest of this line means????

Item# 61809
$173.00

Cragar <-Manufacturer
SS SPR Sport 08/61<--wheel style/model
15 X8 <--diam/width
5-114.30/120.65 <--5 bolt pattern, i think these are oval holes, youll need proper mag studs/nuts. chevy is 5 x 4.75" idk what metric is, but its close to 120
-6<-- offset, mm from width center that the mounting face is offset. c3 15x8 have offset 0, centered. so 4 " backspace with -6 wheel sticks out 6mm shouldnt be a problem
CSCHCL <--- likely dealer code for wheel finish. Chrome Steel wheel, Chrome center, Chrome Lip.

I think Cragar SS are the best looking rims out there and they've stood the test of time. Very period correct for your car, but they won't clear the calipers without a spacer.

Thank you for the information, I do appreciate it. I can get these, Series 61C - S/S Super Sport Direct Drill, they cost more, but I won't have to mess with the washers.

Worked at an auto parts store in the 60s. Even back then Cragers were the most popular with the Uni Lug, but they were pricey.

I put the Cragars on the car as an alternative look to the redlines and rallys a couple years ago, just for a change of pace.

I like the look so much I can’t take them off!

+1 - get the same size front and rear, tires too. 255/70-15's are a good size.

Order all from Discount Tire Direct and they will mount balance and ship right to you.
