Just noticed in one of the videos they sent me of my 71 an odd clip on the drivers side seat... Any ideas?

Nice to have that option on your seats. Not all have them.

If you need one, email me at Service@Willcoxcorvette.com, I may have a good used one.

I had asked the same question of my 69 donor car which was a original early car (Nov68) I guess it was an option back then or maybe not.

Shoulder harness came as standard in 1971 Coupes and were options in 1971 Convertibles. Shoulder harness was an option on Convertibles all the way through the last year of the C3 verts in 1975.
My '71 Convertible did not come with optional shoulder harness but both my seats have the clip and also the attachment for the shoulder harness (that I used with my 3 point harness upgrade) so I have to assume the clip and attachment at the rear wheel well were installed on all of them.

The clip is on my 69 also but I added a retractable shoulder belt so it hangs from shoulder now

How did you install a retractable shoulder harness? Is it a kit? Can you post some pics?

There are a bunch of ways to do it. I used the rear seatbelts out of a 4th gen Firebird. Works great. Just do a search here and you'll be overwhelmed with threads on the subject.

Someone swapped seats or added those clips as they didn't go past 71 when the retract belts started being used in 72

Here's the way the factory did it.

The '93 to '02 rear Camaro / Firebird belts have everything you need for your coupe except for one part not shown under #1 in the coupe drawing.
