Do not use their preassembled fittings, undo all their fittings, including the Air fitting.
Do not use standard Teflon Tape, hydraulic fluid will weep past the Teflon tape.
Us a good thread sealant like "Leak Loc Gold" seal.
Leak free since i did this.
A little late to the game here but +1 for the quick jack!
It can be awkward getting the rubber blocks in place if you have side pipes but still worth it.
Bonus on a C6 you can easily lift the car level for oil changes! I have a video of my wife lifting her c6 and giggling because it is kind of fun to push a button and your car goes up!

Yep, their seals are poor. I had to get 3 sets before mine stopped leaking.
I'm not sure of what you mean....they make the buyer assemble all the fittings except for the crimped fittings on the hydraulic hoses....so I made them up as directed.
They are NPT's (metric) with Teflon Tapes as SUPPLIED BY THEM....and or 'O-ring fittings Torqued to their specs.
A bit of messing to get things lined up, next time will be quicker.
I did some no-load test runs (only up a little), and had two minor leaks. Unfortunately the actual lift was a bit more draining. I used sealant on the connections, thought that I had them sufficiently tight...
Ben using mine for three years now. The '72 sits fine on the QJ, solid, easy to work on. The '68 being an early model and a roadster to boot tends to sag a bit on the QJ. Rear door gap opens on the jacks causing the door to not open or close depending on where it was when I started. The '68 does not have the diagonal braces on the rear frame like the later models.
quick note: When attaching the hydraulic hoses and especially when disconnecting them release the pressure in the system with the down button to take off some pressure. Also align the pins and slots while connecting and just push the fittings together. You don't need to pull the slider back to attach the hoses.
My 2ct worth.

Sometimes I have to cycle the pump for a second up then down to help evacuate the pressure inside the pump to reattach the lines easily after the barometric pressure has swung a lot. And keep the ends clean as you can. I bought caps but I wipe them off all the time. I had a female end puke out an o ring just after I got it even though I was and still am a bit **** about keeping the ends clean.
...I was and still am a bit **** about keeping the ends clean.
I worked with systems using self-sealing connectors on high-pressure lines filled with 99.999% pure helium. Your **** can't possible touch my paranoia. 😉
I just assembled mine last night and I had a couple of puddles coming from my hoses. I did not receive teflon tape but a clear teflon gel to coat the threads in the kit. I'm thinking about disassembling and recoating with the provided gel, coating with teflon paste from my nitrous install, or ordering leak lock and waiting until august 6th for it to arrive.
