1972 Window Crank Handle
The k-n-o-b popped off of my passenger side window crank handle. It seems they are riveted on. I don't know if they are repairable.
My AIM lists the part for the handle as 7752485, None available for that part number new or used on Ebay. There are some listed with a different part number as NOS for 1972 Camaro and Firebird.
They look similar. Would these be the same for the Corvette? I would like to replace with the OEM part if possible, NOS or used.

There are many look-alikes. I have several NOS ones that were GM replacements. Look at yours from the side and know the curvature of your handle. Most of the NOS ones have a slightly different profile. I don’t know how important that is to you, but it is to some people like me.

I'll have to pop the handle off to check the profile. I, like you, need it to be right.
Update: looking at various replacements. Some have have much more "arch" or "curve" thank others. Thank you for bringing this to my attention

It's just the **** with a new press-in retainer.

I've bought and sold a few of these. I think the A, B,C is more like a mold number.
The NOS ones that have a casting number that starts with a 2 usually have a press on k n o b as opposed to riveted on.
There are a few places that sell a reproduction that has the correct casting number on the back though not quite in the same font..

those handles where used on most GM cars and trucks of the era. nothing special about them. here is a article on how to repair them
