HELP with 73 ac system..
I converted over to 134a from R12 by installing the eliminator kit and after fixing a couple of pin hole leaks I now can pull and hold 28/29hg for 2 plus hours..
The problem is when I try to add the 134a refrigerant, it will not go into the system, I even jumped the contacts on the compressor so that the clutch was engaged and it still would not flow into the ac system. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong. It has an A6 compressor..

one is VACUUM (other direction!) the other is pressure!
Er ah make sure the 28.5 inches you pulled was the SYSTEM not the hose! lol!

if it's the system should take about a half hour to evacuate that amount of void....if its the hose...will take a few seconds.
