That switch cuts power to wiper motor, allowing stopping arms in a position for servicing wiper blades. I assume you already know the vacuum switches on either side control wiper door and headlamp buckets, also to allow servicing those items. That **** looks like the one in my 71. It doesn't really match any other ***** on the instrument panel. Chip.

Since you've asked that question, we would advise you to purchase 3 documents to assist you with your ownership:
1. Owner's manual for your model year;
2. Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual for your model year:
3. Assembly Instruction Manual for your model year (commonly known as the A.I.M.)

These are the primary three sources of information on the proper use & proper care and maintenance, and for the way in which the car's components (and sub-assemblies) were installed at the assembly factory. They will be invaluable to the DIY owner.

It's the Newbie ejector switch...make sure the roof is open first! lolz

These are both the wiper cover overrides...pull plungers and the headlight override....vacuum!

As said above the **** is the 'STOP THE WIPERS..I wanna get off! In the up position switch (very useful for changing the blades!)

another book you should have (repro or not!) is the 1969 owner's manual

I have a 69 as well.
