I have a drain on my battery, Under dash wiring harness, can pull the fuse out, on the break and hazard lights and kills the drain. The drain stops. When put the fuse back in and unplugged everything drain is still there. Has anyone got an idea on what I am missing.
1. Brake light switch stuck on?
2. Hazard relay jammed/stuck/ bad (hazards work???)
3.Put a decent voltmeter between the fuse terminals with the fuse out and set the meter to Milliamps...record the amp draw.
Pull fuse. Disconnect battery at the neg post....record millamps at the neg post. Report back!
By unplug everything what do you mean. There are both relays as well as multiple connectors front and back. As well you may have a wire that is partially shorted. Bare wire touching ground of hot somewhere. Use a ammeter but start on highest amp scale and turn down. If you are blowing a fuse it must be higher draw than that. Are all your brake lights and hazards working. Unplug harness to rear or front to isolate. and get a wiring diagram to aid you
