Default Got a C3...Finally!

All,

After over a year of looking, I finally purchased my first C3. Its a ‘73 with a modified L48 (headers, intake, holley carb). Its also a manual!! Thank you for your guidance in helping me obtain my dream car. This forum is an invaluable resource. Driving my vette down pacific coast highway on the way home today with the roof open and windows down affirmed why these cars are worth saving. As you can see in the pic below, my 8 month old has already claimed this car. I guess I’ll have to get another for my 2 year old.

Very nice, I like the paint job too, but please lose the man bag. The grin can stay! Now drive it and then worry about parking it!

We start ‘em young. The baby’s much better looking than I am so I figured you’d rather see a pic of the car with him rather than my ugly mug.

Ha! Sadly the briefcase/man bag will be a regular fixture as I plan to drive this car to work at least a couple days each week.

If he’s anything like his dad he’ll be wheeling it out of the garage while we’re sleeping by the time he’s 15.

Nice! There's nothing better than a 4-speed C3. I hope you can find some empty roads to enjoy, and your kids grow to love these cars too.

I like the paint and highlights. I don't normally care for red, but that is a great color and paint job.

I also was was not a huge fan of red and was very skeptical about the paint job. It didn’t look great in the pictures. Once I saw it in person, it looked amazing and everything else checked out. So now it’s in my garage!
