Driver side mirror, top part wobbles on the pedestal. Can that be tightened or time for a new one?
No need for a new mirror it’s bolted from underneath. But it’s quite tricky to fix. Usually you have to dissemble the door panel and take out the window. But I fixed it even without loosening the window.
1) remove door panel (should be clear)
2) lower window
3) take out the two top window stops
4) find a way to reach the stupid second screw behind the window
But you really need patience and flexible fingers. But I’d definitely do it again without removing the windows. Saves a lot of adjustment time.
