I was at the Gillmore car museum today and saw the "Great White". Took some pics and thought y'all C3'ers might like to see. (Made by GM for Bill Mitchell. Plaque said 454 500+HP)
Lets say a Pontiac guy did the design. Snow flake wheels off a TransAm, tail lights off a Grand Prix. Pin stripping , shades of TransAm. That rear spoiler probably where the GreatWhite moniker came from, kinda ugly. The red interior , never did like red interiors. Other than that , pretty nice looking car.
From: South of Phoenix Arizona, but North of no-where.
I guess "Great White" is a better name than "Snow White"?
but the Liberals are gonna complain about "White Privledge" one way or the other.
Its not my cuppa tea but it is a beautiful car .
The splitters between the headlights looked 100% tacked on.
The fit and finish, panel gaps. and smooth transitions around the wing and hood shapes were high quality. (definitely done by high class skill sets)
The interior was plain. I was a little surprised at that.
Considering the times.. the tailights were different but not out of place.
I really wanted to know more about the drive train.
