I will say this, make sure if you have a transmission rebuilt that you actually add gear oil to it. For some reason, I assumed that my rebuilder had added the oil and didn't think to check. Thankfully I didn't drive super far or super hard on it before realizing my mistake. Talked to the builder and he said he used plenty of assembly lube which should have helped. I added oil and drove a bit and did a flush on it last night and topped it back off. I will do another flush in 20-30 miles and see what the oil looks like. We think I just lost a little bit of wear life on the faces of the gears, but should be ok. Time will tell.
