people reached out to me in email so i here i am..

like in the movie regarding Henry i had enough so i said when. but kindness drew me back, much thanks, means a lot to me.

did i miss some cool custom stuff?

i have been trying to do a little to the 69 daily but health doesnt always allow, heat is indexing over 100 most days.

i have been putzing away at my cowl area pillar rust which compared to many isnt too bad, and i will fix it out of the box do gm one better in my mind, break out the welder, yeah, the glass and interior and some firewall has to get out of the way.

so tell me what that ballpoint pen size factory hole was for?

anyone around eustis rebuild engines as a hobby?

again thanks all for asking and caring and if i Houdini there is always,

Sometimes life gets in the way, or a guy just needs a break for a bit. I'm confident Bats will be back here when the time is right for him.

Yep, always enjoyed reading Bat's posts, hope he decides to return. One thing I learned from Bat's was just how valuable "toad pelts" are.

Another one missing is Alan who I hope is putting together a big book to publish with all of his great photos.

Like everything, I suppose we all come and go, ha!

I have been in touch with him and he is doing fine. You won't likely see him here again though, that ship has sailed. If you send him an e-mail and give him your e-mail you can connect with him. Sometimes we leave because we want to, sometimes we leave because we have to, that is the way of public forums. Contact him by e-mail and wish him well, I am sure he would be glad to hear from you.
Best regards,
David Howard

I like Bats. Had some discussions with him. But to be in here everyday, offering advice and building relationships and then just Leave....I dunno....Seems vacant at best. Maybe someday I will know all there is to know about Corvettes. But until that time comes, I will be right here.

Hey !

That hole had a plastic plug in it originally , it was used in the jigging/ welding of the cage.
