I know on my MSD wires if you pinch the end a little while twisting they come right off. I'd rather have them hard to get off than them just falling off. Dielectric grease works great too. I never put my plug wires back on without it.

I've got MSD wires, too. They don't come off easy. Better that than slipping off. I guess I'll become a "greaser".
