Default Removing the 'Vent' **** from the center stack levers
Hi, I'm taking the console plate off of our '68 to do some cleaning/restoring on it. I'm just checking to make sure because I can't tell - - are the vent ***** on the levers just a press fit, or is there a small set screw that I can't see? Any tricks? Thanks very much in advance, Paul

On my 71 those ***** are held on with a small set screw. A 1/16 allen wrench fits mine. The screw is on the front side just under the word close

Set screw on 68 for sure. Its on the side.

I believe you have the rectangular *****, same as on very early 69's. If I am not mistaken they are press on fit, no set screws.

Seems like there should be set screws in from the sides
