Spare tire use

anyone able to identify an old spare tire I just pulled off my 77 parts car.
It looks like its a bf Goodrich radial tire.
Dot code BEUUXM1241 on a corvette rally.

It's just an old tire. I believe that BF Goodrich T/A Radials were not 'original equipment' for Corvettes....only as replacement tires.

I'm guessing by the last 3 numbers that the tire was manufactured on the 24 week of 1981?
Does anyone else read it differently?
The reason why I ask, is because as far as I can tell, this tire was never used and might be useful for someone who would like maybe a spare that is just for show that is date correct.

Nothing more than a roll the car around the body shop tire.

A date on a non factory tire doesn't help but good job thinking of others.

Here is another question. This was the spare i found on a 77. The car has the normal 77 aluminum rally wheels on it.
Would it be normal to have a steel corvette rally wheel on a 77 for the spare?
