Hey all, while checking over my main harness I found a corner broke off the box were one of the screws go thru. Can this be repaired, super glue or model glue? Or does someone make a new box? I see they make them for the C1 and C2. But I did not find a c3. Give me your thoughts guys! Thanks Troy.
I speak from experience on this. A drunk hit my 68 coupe and smashed the firewall. The car was fixed but the two screw holes on the fuse block were broken off from the accident and the insurance company would not get me a new $200.00 wiring harness from GM.
I went to a junk yard and found a very similar fuse block and I did switch them out. However two of the white printed fuse slots were flipped in position and I had to adjust the wiring to match. This was in 1979, so I do not remember any of the gory details.Lou.
You can replace the boxes, you just have to un-pin the fuse terminals from the block once the main block is separated. I too should have a used block here if George doesn't have one. Just post back and I'll take a look tomorrow if needed.

I won't be in until tomorrow but we removed a dash harness from a 68 about six months ago so I'll have to check the condition of it and if it's bad then I'll match it up to the boxes of fuse boxes I have.

Here is mine. The words are washed off from soaking.
Sorry it took so long. I had it soaking in lime away too clean contacts. One more dose of that and I’m good.
