I removed my mounting bracket too soak it clean. And will cleaning the rest of the valve I noticed something, it looks like something is missing here?

you didnt soak the valve did you.Those things fail pretty eaasily and its usually thought the vent which is where the filter is missing
no RR i did not soak it. i capped all the nipples and washed it carefully. i then put a mighty vac on it and tested it. it worked fine.. i bent the tabs on the bracket that hold it too the main valve so i could clean the bracket better..i wish there was a way too get the gold tone back on the valve bracket? i know eastwood makes a paint kit for it but it looks goofy when done..thanks troy
