Sport Mirror Help
I could use some help with sport mirrors. Is the base/pedestal taller on a Corvette C3 sport mirror compared to the Camaro, Monte Carlo,etc sport mirrors? I know they mount differently .I wanted to install sport mirrors onto a resto mod and started looking and comparing the two mirrors and noticed the Camaro one appears to be shorter. Are the glass housings the same for both? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The base/pedestal is definitely taller but I'm fairly confident the body is the same. I have a '79 with stock sport mirrors and the view in the sucks--particularly the driver side.
