brake vacuum low

I went through a LOT of headache with mine. I had all Wilwood components and still felt like ****.
The way I see it there are 3 options, 2 of which I tried:
1. Add a vacuum pump. Pros - You still get power brakes. Con - Big, heavy, and loud as hell and still not consistent. Pump ~$200
2. Switch to manual brakes. I chose that route. I am fairly happy with them. Pros - Consistent and more room in engine bay. Cons - a bit more pressure required from your foot. Will require a probable change in master cyl and new brake lines going into the MC.
3. Hydroboost. Pros (that I know of) works really well from the reviews and still power assisted brakes. Cons - cost and complexity. Not sure about the cost.
There is a lot of info on here about the brakes and dealing with low vacuum but those are the 3 choices I have seen.
Your choice.
