Hi, I am wondering if my valve covers will fit vortec cylinder heads. I have Edelbrock Signature Series 4449 valve covers.

But the adapters are often so pricey, it may be more practical to acquire new covers.
As you know, OE vortec covers are black ribbed steel stampings ...
... there are chromed versions but most are rather short OE height ... hunt for taller chromed versions.
I've seen some handsome taller center-bolt ribbed cast alum (has that L46-L82 look) for ~ $70. Of course they're asian.
Also, some aftermarket vortecs capable of accepting both center & perimeter ... true GM iron are center only.
