if there is a grease fitting then you sure do. I always pump grease into them until grease comes out the seal. then wipe clean
If they are quality ball joints they will have a fitting.
However, I'll warn you that the so called reproduction ball joints made in Ghina lol they are junk and have grease fittings.... that don't work. The imported joints have the fittings but they won't accept grease.
Don't ask me how I know, I'll tell you.... Lets just say we used them on the 35k mile 63 swc we did a body off on and then they squeaked horribly. Then we greased them and joints just started squirting grease from between the top hat of the joint and didn't even make it to the stud. So we removed them and installed Moog Joints and had no issues. I guess Ray (the car owner) took the ding on these when judged but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks guys, the grease nipples worked fine and I've put half a dozen pumps into each of them with no sign of anything coming out. Hopefully that's sufficient.
Nope. If grease did not ooze from the rubber boot, the joint is not filled....or the grease pump is not working. The way you KNOW that it is properly filled is that some oozes out of the boot. As mentioned, wipe ALL of the excess grease from the outside. If not, it's a real dirt catcher and grime maker.
