Sunken Float
have a 72 coupe and after 5 long years I have put it on the road. I
replaced the gas tank and sending unit about a year ago. My problem is
the float on the sending unit does not float. If I manually move it up
using a wire the gas gauge works then when I let it go it float backs
down to the bottom. Any idea why the float is not floating? Any fixes
beside a new sending unit?
