Default Help with this part?

Found it in my tub of stuff that came with our '77. It was in with dash stuff, but that doesn't really mean much given how unorganized the parts were.

Thanks for any help,
Adam

The '77 has a one year only interior that's sort of a hybrid between the '68 - '75 and the '78+. I've seen nothing like that in my '79 and have had the interior stripped to the bones. IF it's part of the car I'll guess somewhere in the center console and dash as it continues through via the gauges and upper A/C vents. I say this because of the symmetric design.

Another photo with a ruler for reference will help!

Is there a part number or any identifying marks on it? I had my 77 interior completely out and don’t recognize that as being part of it. My 68 was completely disassembled and was in boxes and plastic bins. I even had some C2 and Camaro parts mixed in. What you have may not even be a Corvette part.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the responses. Here is a photo to show the size, and I do see some numbers on it "370" and below it "177".

It is possible this isn't from our '77. The PO was not very organized.

Thanks again for your help!
Adam

It's actually the divider between the sliders in the a/c control on console. ( sorry for the confusion ) I took apart shifter and a/c control to clean and rebuild couldn't remember. It' came back to me after posting! Hope that helps.

Thanks Tom! I have a bag of broken parts from the original controls, and I hadn't looked at the new controls I purchased until you posted this. You nailed it! I see this part inside the new controls. Thanks again!

You're welcome! Glad I could help someone on my first post on this site. Hope to post story about my 82 CE one day. ( I think I found the information about the control on this forum but can't remember - lots of good people here!) Good Luck with your car!
