Hi everyone .Does anyone have a good / great link on how to remove the clock from my 1970 corvette. Clock no working and looking to do a quartz conversion
The most important steps are HOW you get the nuts loose on those [brittle pot-metal] threaded posts at the bottom of the gauge bezel AND how you manipulate that bezel to pull it out of its 'nest' without breaking those posts off. If you get those steps right and are careful with documenting where all the wires are connected and routed, the process will not be difficult.
If you just pull it apart, pull all the wires an oil tube off, and THEN think about how it goes back together.....you're TOAST!!
